[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smaller than I expected. But my kids love it. They think it’s so funny it explodes and can still move around. It is loud when it moves and light is bright when it explodes. A must for a Minecraft fan. It’s a big hit in my house. Take 5 AA batteries all together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The creeper is very sturdy , the top comes off and you can use as storage to put mini things . Definitely age appropriate. Holds the boys interested. The creeper is easy to use , it’s a decent size and easy to store .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minecraft fans would love this! Multidirection remote control and once you hold down the gray button it explodes with paper explosives and Creeper head pops off. Very durable so far with hours of non stop play. Kids couldn’t stop laughing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest it worked for about 5 minutes and then stopped exploding. We tried to do many times and wont go. Still makes noise. Overall, I honestly think this toy was advertised to be way cooler than it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great interactive toy for the Minecraft kiddo in your house. I like how it makes realistic sounds. You put paper cutouts of the gunpowder inside of the creeper then it "explodes" which adds to the excitement factor. At first I put the paper cutouts in the wrong spot and it didn't work well, the read the instructions and found the correct spot so that is something to show your kiddo before they use it. The controls are kid friendly and the creeper is easy to reassemble

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we got this my 7 yr old grandson was coming over. Un boxing was easy and quick . Quick and easy to uses right a way. He played with this for hours. Carrying stuff on its head. Chasing the dog and filling extra things to blow up in its head.

Creeper is blast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This exploding remote control Creeper is fun. There are some things that we found to be a bit difficult. The head is easy to put on but you have to make sure that is on and on the correct way, where the face is on the same side as the toenails. Otherwise the explosion becomes random and does not happen every time you push the action button on the remote. The explosion particles are a fun idea but not really necessary. They fall out rather than fly out when it explodes, like a waterfall instead of a blast. And they are made of heavy card stock so they will be durable but not lasting long term. It’s very hard for kids to keep their hands steady enough for them to gingerly place the particles on the shelves inside the Creeper body. It doesn’t run on carpet but it really doesn’t need to. It runs very well on wood, tile, or linoleum floors. I really like that there wasn’t any sticker decals to put on it. The face and feet already have their details.

Fun with Details & Speed but Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Minecraft Exploding Creeper is fun but does not hold the interest of my 9 year old son for very long. The anticipation of the toy itself was much higher than the excitement after 10 minutes of playtime. The interaction is very realistic, especially for children who have played "survival" mode in the Minecraft game. It has the added fun of having "gun powder" inside when it explodes, which is once again realistic to the game and a "crafting" item. Assembly is quick and straightforward and reassembling after the creeper "explodes" is also very simple.
One downfall is that the creeper is very loud when moving around, so there is no "creeping". The remote has forward and then a backwards-turn. The creepers legs move realistically when you move it and it is very fast, which is fun to play with. You can choose to begin the explosion and stop by releasing your hold on the button. If you continue pressing it, it will "explode" and the "gunpowder" cardboard pieces fall out, as the head "pops" off. The remote is also in the design of the blocks you would use in Minecraft, which is a fun added detail.
All in all this is a fun toy, it just doesn't hold the attention of my 9 year old boy for very long.
