Fun for kids who are maxed out on RC toys
on June 5, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys (8, 10) are obsessed with Minecraft so I got this for them even though they are maxed out on remote control toys. And this one really surprised us - it was so entertaining for them!
First of all, the branding is on-point. Even the remote is a super cool Minecraft theme.
The creeper explodes and sets off some small papers that are designed to look like Minecraft-style smoke. I would say that that is my only "eh" on this toy - that the little papers are kind of like confetti that won't last all that long. But the head pops off, and it comes apart, and it's smashing fun that'll outlast the papers.
It kind of looks like it's walking with wobbling legs, and is definitely five stars on the entertainment end. The RC is very sturdy, and it is controlled with a simple two-direction joystick: forward and backward/left for turning.
And bonus points: my three year old isn't scared of it (she's scared of most of big brothers' toys).

Minecraft Exploding RC Creeper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys are 7 and 8 and LOVE Minecraft! Everything about this Minecraft RC Creeper from the packaging to the actual product itself is geared for Minecraft lovers. The Creeper RC does have lights and makes noise but it is a little loud...although that didn't stop them from playing with it (because we all know kids LOVE toys that make noises). Lol. The RC itself is well made, it does explode and it's head pops off (which is pretty cool!) and small Minecraft pieces come out. It's pretty easy to put back together, my boys had no problem with that at all. Overall this is a fun toy and keeps my boys entertained!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Minecraft was sturdy and very entertaining. Kids loved to chase after one another with the toy. It does not include batteries. That is something to consider especially when kids are very excited to receive it. Otherwise, they had fun with it and having the little top pop off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so cool! It’s a remote controls creeper that you can “explode”! The head comes off and there’s a bunch of smoke pieces they come out. They are just heavy paper like. Definitely hours of fun with this toy!

Cool concept! I like it could use some work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it’s a cool concept, but I had a few issues. The first one is the different batteries needed on both the controller and the creeper itself. AAA and AA batteries! Would be nice if they only used one type of battery! The lack of left and right makes it unable to drive. The wheels are ment to be driven on hard flooring but when we tired using it, it’s got too much power and it slides. Even if you get the hang of the turning mechanic, if it’s too fast it won’t be facing the side you’d like!

Hours of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love minecraft, as well as myself, so i am always excited for them to get new toys based around the game. This creeper is so fun to control, and the noises are so realistic. It is easy to "reload" the explosion particles into the creeper, and attach the head. My only qualm is how flimsy they are as theyre just paper, and how they arent held in super well. So if they get bent, it makes it harder. But overall a wonderful toy.

Kaboom fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is simple, straightforward, exciting, and easy use. The paper pieces meant to animate the explosion are fun, but will certainly be lost to the toy bin very soon. The mechanics are also quite limited. You can only spin back in one direction and go forward. It’s a bit tricky but the kids found it to be a good challenge. The explosion gives that exciting jack in the box energy which makes for great jump scares.

Fun but not creeping up on Mom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 boys all major Minecraft fans so this was very exciting for them. It's bigger than I thought and does need batteries. This is probably a good thing but you cannot really sneak it up on someone as it would imply because it's motors are loud. This was pointed out by one of my boys who was sad you cannot 'creep' with it haha.
