Quiet and powerful vacuum!! Swivel could use work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really good vacuum! Suction is powerful and the regular modes are quieter than the average vacuum! The base with autodisposal also works really well (this in my opinion puts samsung way above dyson). Only place for improvement would be the weight and handling. Specifically, the swivel for the main head is somewhat uncomfortable and stubborn to rotate compared to competitors, making anything but straight-line vacuuming a workout for the wrists. Still a good vacuum and the ai feature is nice and pretty accurate!!

Strong versatile vacum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this vacum for almost a month and it's very powerful that I do not need to use higher than the lowest setting on carpets. Have tested it in rougher environment like construction zone and it performs well with construction debris and dust. Very versatile and easy maneuverability on corners and stairs. Only little area I think could be improved on is another placement for the optional attachment head on the unit itself or on the charging unit as how the extension and other piece is attached on the wall charger. I would not hesitate to recommend this vacum to anyone who needs a strong and powerful vacum. I've critically tested it in all different and unlikely areas where a floor vaxum would be used and it performed excellent. As noted before, I did not need to use it at the higher settings since it became too powerful and thus difficult to use. It's more power than would be necessary for regular household cleaning. The battery lasts for a good while under initial and medium settings. Highly recommend this vacum. At first I was very skeptical from the other reviews, but turns out to be a well made unit.

Poor battery life, worst repair service.

I bought this vacuum, in less than 2 yrs the battery apparently died. I said apparently because no one from service department could tell me what was wrong with it. They said if the battery doesn't charge you need a new battery, if it's still doesn't charge then you need a new unit. When I asked if less than 2 yrs was normal for the battery to go bad, they said "that depends on how often you use it"...are you serious?? It's a vacuum, am I suppose to use it once a week or something? I have a Dyson (10yrs old now), still works and I never replaced the battery. When I asked the guys if Samsung will send me a new battery (which we are not 100% sure this is the real problem), he said unfortunately warranty is only 12 months and I will have to buy it. Again, I might buy a battery and the problem is not solved. I guess I'll stick to Samsung phones and TVs, the best ever, but never get an appliance nor recommend it to anyone again.

Better than Dyson

Good battery, terrible pickup

i have owned this vacuum for a few months, and while the battery life is good, it's terrible at picking up anything other than dirt and dog hair, ie small rocks, bugs, anything that is not flat. it either pushes them forward or if i lift the vacuum up and set it on top of it, it just spits it out. very disappointing considering the brand.
