WASTE OF MONEY

Got this for my son for christmas… HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND WASTE OF MONEY. Does not make one single loop.. even with the car it came with. Photo shows where I believe the fault is. It’s raised up so everytime a car runs over it slows down and completely flips when at the first top loop. JUNK!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a gimmick only one car works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only car it came with works. If you read reviews Hot wheels gives out the same generic answer over and over again. Instead of just telling you what cars exactly work and selling them in a bundle Hot wheels wants you to keep buying in hopes of finding some that work. Hit Wheels should be ashamed to he treating customers this way. You got two disappointed kids that have their last hot wheel set if this is how you treat repeat customers. Tell all of us frustrated what vehicles actually work, or do is all a favor and test cars and then tell us the ones that work.

How To Have Fun With This Product

Bought this for my son for Christmas. Instructions are great and the labeling on the pieces is awesome so the assembly process is fantastic. Unfortunately you need more information to make it work as intended and unless you are willing to research the product and do trial and error, you will get frustrated quickly.
For parents:
- D cells are no bueno. Buy a 4 pack D-Cell eliminator and save your self time and money. The toy will be enjoyed longer. I have the newest variant of the criss-cross crash from last Christmas and ran through about 15 sets of D cells prior to figuring out the trick with these crash/loop sets. I'm sure Mattel will not endorse this but I can speak for myself and say I have had NO problems with the product after converting. Specs for conversion, 6VDC (Volts DC) and up to 3 Amps. Some sites are expensive, some a bit cheaper. More money but trust me on this one. I would provide a link but I have a feeling it would get deleted.
- The Q&A above is too vague for which cars work. Find HW track racers, X-Raycers, Track bundles, Track builders, or really anything that has a metal chassis and plastic body OR the "loop" symbol on the bottom.
-If the cars aren't making the loops, I had this issue. Make sure all the parts are clicked in all the way AND try placing it on different surfaces. The back legs tend to wobble if on carpet and it makes it unstable so the cars bounce around the track and lose momentum. Hold the legs down and see if it helps. If so, put something heavy on it or back it up to a wall to stabilize.

Cars don’t make it through the loops

I brought this product(he’s been asking for it all year)for my six-year-old son as a Christmas gift. Just got the batteries for the track of the cars(hot wheel cars) makes it through the loop even with the recommended scale cars. it’s very disappointing because the point of the track is to have them crash and it doesn’t even do that
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A joke?

This track looks so great!! The fact only certain cars worn with it is ridiculous. Topped with where are the special cars that go with it? The car it came with has a loop, looking at the site you can’t even filter those cars. I would have rather paid extra for more cars in the set. “4loops 4 cars”

Terrible gift

The included car doesn’t even work and none of the 75+ hot wheels cars my son has work. I went out and purchased another 5 pack of the ones with orange wheels that are supposed to work well on loop tracks and none of those work either. What was supposed to be my son’s favorite gift and literally the only thing he asked for is something that frustrates him all day every day now.

Kids loved but I don’t

Battery life sucks. Even with turning it off when it’s not played batteries only last 2-3 days max. Also they take 4 DD BATTERIES. My kids love the track but the quality of this track ain’t it.
