This vacuum is significantly more quiet than my Roomba. It takes about the same amount of maintenance, but seems to clean itself better. The mopping pads are very easy to replace when necessary. I have to change the water once or twice a day depending on how large an area that is being mopped.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Total Convert — This Robot Is the Real Deal!

I was a skeptic. After going through several disappointing robot vacuums and mops over the years, I had pretty much made peace with the idea that they were all hype and no substance. But the Narwal completely changed my mind from the very first use.
The moment I saw it in action, I was sold. No gimmicks, no half-hearted passes across the floor — just a thorough, impressive clean that left my floors looking better than I expected. It handles the job with a level of efficiency and intelligence that none of our previous robots came close to matching.
I've become such a believer that I've referred it to more people than I can count. In fact, I trusted it so much that I brought it to our church to clean the dining hall before a wedding — and it delivered! That's not something you do with a machine you're not fully confident in.
If you've been burned by subpar robots before like I was, I completely understand the hesitation. But please hear me out: the Narwal is worth every single penny. It's one of those rare purchases where you realize pretty quickly that you made the right call.
Don't second-guess it. Just get it. You'll be referring it to everyone you know too.

I bought and have been using my Narwal Freo Z Ultra Robot Vacuum & Mop for a couple of months. This robot is very good at keeping my floors clean. I enjoy that it’s quiet, thorough and self cleaning. I used the old roomba and zoomba many years ago. Those were very high maintenance, loud and I gave up using them quickly. My Narwal is the total opposite. I was apprehensive as to whether I should purchase it or not. Well obviously I did, and I love it. I have a true little helper around the house that saves me time and effort. It does a fantastic job and I can’t imagine life without it now.

Great robot

I use this on the ground floor in my condo. My floors are a mix of ceramic tile in the bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen hardwood floors with area rug in the living room, hardwood floor in the dining room with carpet runners, and very plush carpet in the master bedroom. The robot does a great job on all the surfaces. I tried another high-end brand robot and it totally failed on the plush carpet. It had terrific suction, but would suck down into the plush carpet and the sensors would think the robot was jammed. I eventually had to return it. The Narwal has none of these problems. He does a great job, vacuuming and outstanding job, mopping the hardwood and ceramic floors. The software app is good but not great. I’d say it’s adequate for the job. Overall, it’s an excellent robot and I’m very satisfied.

I’m 83 and I love my Freo Z. It vacuums and mops my house everyday and really helps me out. It goes under my kitchen table and my bed ans does a great job on my hardwood floors.
