I’m completely thrilled with this robot, it’s crazy amazing. We have all engineered hardwood floors which have been cleaned on hands and knees initially then that changed to a stick power mop . Both great but the stick mop created a white ‘haze’ which was annoying- this using distilled water!? I researched robots and decided on this, and I truly couldn’t be happier. The first run after mapping had the floors noticeably clean and zero haze! Blown away! Oh and we have a dog who is barely upset by this machine too. Get one, it’s the best thing!

This robot vac/mop is an excellent product! Chronic health concerns make it very difficult for me to vacuum and mop. I have been immensely pleased as this Narwal robot does an excellent job of doing both. It is quiet, as well as easy to maintain.
It would be helpful if the App would be easier to use. It is not very intuitive. I had to connect with both Narwal several times to learn how to use it.
One negative is that it detects a circular area (such as a connected kitchen, dining area, and living room) as one room. This is not helpful for dividing tasks, such as needing to have the robot vacuum and mop two of the rooms, but just vacuum the other. Yes the App has a way to split a room, but in this case - being an "open" area, it is unable to split the room. After googling the problem, (others have had the same problem), I blocked one entrance to the living room with a row of boxes (as if it were a wall) - then remapped the house - and then the robot detected the living room as a single room. This is important since I did not want the living room mopped, so it had to be mapped as a separate room. Perhaps Narwal will recognize the problem and update their App for such situations.
Would I purchase this robot vac/mop again? Absolutely! I love it and am so appreciative of the help it gives me for cleaning all my floors! I am so impressed with it that I have already recommended it to several others.

I have been using this newer model for the last 3 weeks. I have found that it is much more accurate in avoiding objects/tangling than our Freo was - so far it has no issues returning to home base. With the Freo I was finding it out of home base several nights a week due to either “losing” its place or random items causing blockage.
I gave this a 4 star due to the trash collection system. It is now a bag collection, which means another recurring purchase for this machine. I was very satisfied with the prior collection system, and with this new system I am still having to clean out the collection bin on the robot every other day due to hair getting caught in it. I wish that there was a way to just collect into the container on the robot and dump as we were doing before.
I do like the color of this home base better, and love the plastic lip that protects the floor - so no more mat needed under the home base for water.
If you are nasty (like I am convinced we are with 3 dogs tha are in and out all the time) you will still have to clean out the trays on the bottom of the home base where the pads get washed. This was the same on the Freo, and a small price to pay not to have to mop and vacuum daily.

Its great but there are areas on edge of carpet where the devise does not mop and sometimes gives an error of the mop pads when they are just fine

We had an older narwal vacuum, upgraded to this one. This thing is at the top of the food chain for robot vacuums. Being able to mop, vacuum and can detect cords and walls and have a camera is over the top. Would definitely recommend over any other brand. This thing does not disappoint
