Unimpressed.

We aren’t thrilled with the design of this machine. We purchased this as a replacement for our old VertuoPlus machine (which we loved) and this newer design is a disappointment. The lever on top that opens the machine is clunky and feels a step back from the Plus model’s one touch automatic open. We will likely return this for another VertuoPlus.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ is perfect for a tasty morning espresso. Also excellent for a cold coffee drink. The only thing I would like to see on this machines is to make the espresso hotter other than that is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Vertuo Pop Plus and it did not disappoint. This machine is a 10/10! The coffee is hot (something I was not getting from other brands) and the taste.. omg!! I've tried several flavors as I received a complimentary box of coffee with my purchase and they have all been excellent. Overall very satisfied. Also, I purchased a milk frother and it is definitely the cherry on top of any cup. Thank you to my sales rep for recommending this wonderful product.

Love The Small Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is perfect for those who have limited counter space, compared to the other vertuo models I’ve owned. The machine comes with easy set up instructions and i was able to brew a capsule within minutes of setting it up. I did notice the body gets a bit warm while in use, something I haven’t noticed from my other machines. I’d say over all it works just as well which is pretty impressive given the size of it. I love that it brews both coffee and espresso pods with ease. The ONLY thing I do not like it is the open and close mechanism. It’s very hard to open and close and when doing so, the machine will move as you do so. If you have hand pain wether it’s arthritis or carpal tunnel I say stay away. Other than that tiny detail I’d say its a solid machine.

Great Coffee Quality but Troublesome Troubleshoot

I purchased this machine a while ago because I wanted something compact and simple, and I'm not a heavy coffee drinker—I only use it about four times a month. For me, that’s perfect; I enjoy knowing I can make a good cup of coffee whenever I feel like it. The quality of coffee is great, no question about that. However, I’ve run into some issues with the machine, despite my limited use.
Since it only has one button, it can be hard to diagnose problems when something goes wrong. For example, when a red light appears, I usually have to try several different solutions before I can figure out what’s wrong and fix it. This can be frustrating because it’s not always clear what the issue is. Even though there’s an app, it doesn’t give specific troubleshooting guidance, which I think would be very helpful, especially for a one-button machine like this.
I have seen reviews mentioning that the machine is loud, and it definitely is, but for me, the quality of the coffee makes up for that. Overall, I’d still recommend it, especially if you’re looking for something small and stylish that consistenly delivers great coffee. But for anyone considering it, just know that if it stops working, you may have to go through a bit of trial and error to get it running again. I really hope Nespresso considers enhancing the app to provide clearer guidance on what each error light means in the future.

Poor Quality

Our Vertuo Plus started the famous dreaded Nespresso Coffee Leak, staining our countertop over time. Nespresso only offered a 35% discount on older Vertuo machines. We opted for a full price Vertuo Pop to get more counter space, and it came earlier this week. Not even a week later the new Vertuo Pop starts with the famous Nespresso Coffee Leak from the machine bottom. Not sure if this is a lemon of a machine or just "what to expect" these days. We've poured a lot of money into Nespresso coffee over the years, have bought four machines between my spouse and I, and we are concerned. At least Nespresso let us return this product because it's not even a week old, but please address the descending quality of these newer machines.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
