Amazing out the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gaming is amazing for RPGs. A little big for shooters if playing competitively. I wish the software for sizing screens was better. I was playing with an LG ultra wide in the store and u can hold tab and move windows to different size boxes pre configured on the screen. Samsung up ur software game. I installed power tools on my cpu to allow me to do this and productivity has never been better. I do school work ,work work and gaming with guides and videos all on one screen very nicely now

Black screen

I had this gaming monitor and when i used the display port instantly got a black screen.It supposed to be g sync compatible but its definitely not.If you want to use the full capability of this montior unfortunately you will have to settle for hdmi instead.You should be able to use display port at its full potential but this is just like their older odyssey oled 49 inch model.black screen,black screen and more black screens.

Great form factor and picture quality

And the picture quality and refresh is top of the line. Playing God of War on this monitor is amazing to be able to see all the details of the graphics with insanely smooth animations.

An absolute beast

The size is amazing, but can definitely be a problem if you don't have the space. Speakers sound decent for keeping the monitor slim but I wouldn't rely on them. You definitely need the hardware to get the most out of it. I will say it does take some tweaking to get it to look it's best, but once you do it's a thing of beauty. Overall if you have the space and hardware this is worth it.

Great monitor, but for a DP connection issue

The G95SD replaced my Odyssey Neo G9 I’ve had for 3 years ago (Still working great BTW.)
For me the additional media features in the G95SD are great! I can go from watich streaming to playing in seconds. And the G95SD’s OLED is a significant improvement from my old Neo! Games look incredible.
My only issue (thus the 4 stars) is the G95SD’s video mode switching. It can be VERY temperamental. Driving it with an Nvidia RTX4080 via DisplayPort, if you don’t have everything “just right” the monitor will lose communication with the PC when launching games. Yes, I have tried various DP cables.
Hopefully, there will be a firmware update (soon??) to address the monitor’s sensitivity to this setup.
Oh! One other thing; the settings menus are VERY slow. Any hope of giving them a bit more pep in a new firmware???
I would recommend this to a friend!
