Great Moniter for Productivity, But...

This is a fantastic monitor for productivity. While I don't use it for gaming, as a software engineer and video content editor, I truly appreciate its high resolution and refresh rate, particularly when editing 4K content. The curvature is more subtle than my previous 49-inch monitor, which conveniently frees up more desk space in front.
The included remote is very handy; however, I wish it had a dedicated KVM-style button to switch between inputs. I have both my personal and work PCs connected, and switching between them requires navigating to the Home screen and then to Connected Devices every time.

Best big monitor on the market with a few flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a great monitor with amazing build quality and picture quality. Only issue is the OS. It is laggy at times and not very intuitive when switching inputs. Also wish the monitor had support for type c input and a PD port

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 49 inch wide screen gaming monitor to game & also to work from home when required as it easily replaces 3 of my office monitors into 1. It had some issues with port connectivity at first but future software updates fixed the issues. A solid monitor for gaming & productivity and watching movies. The display clarity and refresh rate is really good bit on the shiny side, and not having anti Reggie reflective coating hurts a little.

Strong first impressions undone

I was excited to receive this monitor, and at first I was genuinely impressed by the picture quality and sound. Unfortunately, several recurring issues quickly began affecting daily productivity and overall usability. Some may have been defects, while others appeared to be design flaws.
The monitor emitted intermittent popping sounds whenever either connected PC woke from sleep, and at random points throughout the day.
Despite extensive troubleshooting, the picture on both connected PCs (each brand‑new with high‑end processors and graphics cards) would occasionally become slightly pixelated before returning to normal.
On two occasions, audio stopped working entirely on both PCs even though the monitor was selected as the output device. Restoring sound required adjusting multi‑view and other settings.
The on‑screen menu plays navigation sounds that cannot be disabled without muting the entire monitor, which is disruptive in a shared workspace or while the rest of the household is sleeping.
The built‑in TV software adds noticeable bloat, making menu navigation slow and cumbersome during troubleshooting.
Additionally, when one of the connected PCs was idle but not in sleep mode, the monitor displayed a distracting screen instead of simply going black.
I was disappointed to have to return the monitor and ended up paying a 20% restocking fee. Based on this experience, I’m not sure I would consider purchasing another Samsung device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
