This is my second Meater and is the last word in 5 star cooking idiot proof to use snd produces the perfect product every time….if you buy one you won’t be disappointed 👍
I have a first gen MEATER that I love but the new MEATER pro surpassed it by a long shot the long range gives the ability to sit and watch tv while it’s cooking out side on the smoker/grill and as expected the meat came out perfectly and I could monitor the whole process

Lost track of when I bought it. Cause it’s so brilliant. You have to have this to be like a chef when you are not.

Brilliant product, can’t this isn’t made a legal requirement for food safety
Stops at 150° on multiple cooks. The meater+ worked much better. Tried to get it replaced and since it passed the cold water test it is working good according to them.

We’ve only cooked salmon with our meater by the difference was amazing! Salt and pepper as the only seasoning and our salmon was still to die for as it was perfectly cooked! Loved the features on the app of estimated cook time and notifying us when to let it rest.
I bought the one probe version and if I had to do it all over again I would have bought more and the one that doesn’t just use a battery. I smoked a brisket and used another company’s probe to see if both read the same. I would recommend using multiple probes when smoking a larger piece of meat. Once finished smoking, I wrapped in a towel and let it rest in a cooler. The MEATER could not connect but the other brand could so I am curious why this happened. A little bit of a disappointment but not a buzz killer.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Ritch. Using multiple probes can definitely enhance monitoring, especially with larger cuts of meat. The connectivity difference you noticed during the resting phase may be related to signal range or interference factors. Our wireless design focuses on convenience and precision within optimal distances.
