Little did I know that the meater has got to be clean to work properly. I don’t mean to rinse it and call it good. Inspect it closely and make sure all surfaces are free of any baked on residue. You’ll be glad you did!

This is about my third MEATER . It is a great device and I love using it. However I have not had good longevity from the devices. My last device, a 1000 degree all metal pro, only lasted maybe a year and a half. It would not take a charge.

I have used meater pro on many and different occasions and the result was always excellent.
The outside temperature probe gives me insight to control the correct setting of heat.
Inside temperature probes and app AI always gives me optimum instruction to cooking and resting.
Very happy with this tool on direct, indirect, rotisserie and cooking tests and experiments
