I bought this new MEATER Pro to replace the one I bought for my husband just over a year ago. It was the lower model and he and I loved using it. Unfortunately for some unknown reason it stopped working. It wouldn’t recharge even after trying several different batteries in it. Figured I would try the next level up in hopes that this one will not have the same problem. We absolutely loved the original one and were disappointed after it would no longer charge. Here’s hoping we have better luck 🍀 with this one. 🤞🏼I want to give it a five star rating as it is a great product but for now it gets a four until we see how long it lasts.

Purchased the MEATER PRO as a Christmas gift for my husband. This is his 3rd MEATER...but an upgrade. His first one burned up, lol and received a replacement. Now he has THE PRO which can handle a higher heat, when needed, or if the fire gets outta control ;-). He ❤️🔥 his meaters and the accuracy to turn out meat to the correct doneness everytime! App works great too. Appreciated the bonus pair of meat grabbing (jk) hot mitts that came with the PRO model....he googled over those almost as much as the beautiful probe in the gorgeous walnut box!!

I have both the standard and the Pro Meater. The pro has two large improvements. The higher temperatures allow me to use it on my gas grill in lower settings, and the probe has a more extended range to the base station. This is a big deal; the standard unit had a difficult time communicating with the base station in my oven, this on works much better

I bought this as a Christmas present. My son in law used it Christmas Day to smoke a prime rib. The meat was so moist and delicious. You can monitor the meat without opening the bbq and releasing the heat. Oh so easy. Best prime rib yet.
