Was great until now. You HAVE to sign up for their cloud account to use the thermometer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cloud accounts not only provide a way to share cooks on social media, sync data across multiple devices and back up your information, but with Bluetooth units like the MEATER Pro, it can add WiFi functionality to extend the range by using a second smart device with MEATER Link.
