First time yesterday. The meater is working fine, but to get the app to work was cumbersome and not user friendly. The link provided is giving offers to purchase in a lower price that I paid, which is a downer, and to finally find the installation instruction took a long time.

Great so far! Only major issue is it appears to use 2.4GHz, which means every time I turn on my microwave it interferes with communications? Otherwise it's working great and making amazing steaks. A lot easier to clean then the original Meater.

Thank you for your review of the MEATER Pro. It has an open air (line of sight) range from the probe to the charger of 33 FT/10 M and from the charger to the smart device up to 250ft/75m. When using a microwave, the shielding built into the oven blocks microwave signals and will also block the probe's Bluetooth signal. I was so convinced that my husband did not need this thermometer. Like how hard is it to set a time and go outside and look?? We live in Wyoming, currently its a whopping 20 degrees Fahrenheit.. the pellets were low, the hopper did feed correctly. I noticed on his phone the temperature outside the meat had dropped 2 degrees.. ahh heck yeah early warning that I needed to shake our old box to fix the feed issue. I think this saved us from having to wait another 4 hours to eat the best brisket!! I'm about to buy one for my brother-in-laws! My sisters deserve to have this sane convenience!

My daughter & son-in-law gave me a Meater+ earlier this year and I had never used it. When Thanksgiving was approaching I saw a good use for it because I was going to do a turkey on the rotisserie of my pellet grill, so probes with cords wouldn’t work. I had the opportunity to get a good deal on this MEATER Pro, so I bought it to have one probe for the breast and one for the thigh. They were very easy to link to the app and performed beautifully and the turkey was perfect…juicy, tasty and the right temperature all the way to the bone.

Bought this to use on our Thanksgiving turkey and it work perfectly. Only had to open the oven twice. Once to put it in and Once to take it out. Usually have to open it multiple times to check the temperature. Double checked the temp with and instant read and it was pretty close. Next up is a tomahawk!!!!
