All the benefits of the first Meater with additional sensors for accurate cooking, slimmer, and can with stand 900+ cooking. This is a must owner for any BBQ or Griller.

A slight improvement over the

A slight improvement over the original. If you have the + you probably won't need to upgrade. The probe continually loses connection even though it is within a foot of the base. I never had the problem with the +. Also the temperature variation between the two is +/- 10 degrees.

I own a Meater Plus

I own a Meater Plus 4 pack and now a Meater 2 Plus. We used them for our Thanksgiving meal. 2 regular Meaters in the turkey and the Meater 2 Plus in a Prime Rib. They ask worked flawlessly. I'm very impressed and I highly recommend them!! Thanks Traeger for buying the company!

The range is not that great. For me it discontented a lot.

Just received it a week ago. Used it four times already in Kamado Joe smoker, grilling on an Oklahoma Joe firetable, and in our kitchen oven. It worked flawlessly in each case. I recommend it highly!
