Never cook without a MEATER 2 plus. Any other way is just guesswork. Should be standard issue with all cooking devices

The only issue is the the timing on when to remove is not accurate. I did a medium rare 125 degrees and I followed the prompt on when to remove and let it rest and it went to 134 before it said it was ready

first cook was great! i had it fully charged 5.5 hours in the turkey, i took it out of the box , tried to use it and couldn't connect! figured it out it wasn't charged!, i put it back in the box and let it charge for 20 min an connected and worked! my original meater doesn't loose contact as much as my new plus 2, maybe because it wasn't fully charged? it's only been the second cook! i like the function of it! i am just surprised it's supposed to have longer range and it's right next to the original
