Wanted to love it but.....

I've had this a few months now and I'm really regretting not returning it. Shark has always been my go to for vacuums but this one I'm just not happy with. Having 2 mastiffs, children and a bird I really need a good vacuum. I don't like the way it goes on low suction on hard floors because it's not enough. The empty bin gets stinky, even with the odor "neutralizer ". Just very unhappy customer

Works well but heavy.

I've had this one week. Cleans really good, better then my old Dyson. It's a little heavy, probably not a good choice for the elderly. Vacuum pushes hard on medium pile carpet, but returns easier. Works good on edging and tile. Wish it had a wall mount with charger.

Works great! I have a older corded shark vacuum and this is great for not having to unravel the cord and use. Wish the battery lasted longer, if it did it would definitely get 5 stars.

Great pickup for dust/dog hair and single roller for all floors is convenient. Not user-friendly.
Hand-held portion too heavy and not balanced properly, possibly due to suction adjustment trigger placement on handle. Have backache after of only 10 minutes of use due to fighting machine. The Eco option is better, but unit will still just stop moving for no reason. Poor selection of attachments. Need a separate, shorter dust brush.

PowerDetect cordless vacuum

It took me a couple of uses to get familiar with how the power boost works on the various flooring types we have, but once I knew how to modify the power level for throw rugs I was thrilled with the extra powerful suction it has! We live in dusty Colorado and when the winds blow there is a very fine dust that makes it through the window and doorframe’s. This vacuum does an amazing job of sucking it up on both carpet and hardwoods! This is especially great for allergies. Highly recommend it!

So far it's wonderful for my 92 year old Mom who still lives independently! It's easy for her to operate, maneuver, empty, and charge. She's figuring out how to do everything and it is so much easier and lighter for her to use on all her floors (tile and carpet). She's loving it! It's such a big hit that my sister just ordered one for herself. Hope that over time we all continue to feel delighted with this. Thank you Shark!

Awful in every way.

The absolute worst vacuum I’ve ever owned. I wish I could give it negative stars. The battery life is terrible, but that’s the least of its problems. The suction power is not good, the accessories like the brush are not functional, it seems designed to fail because as soon as you apply any pressure to it the brush falls down. The “auto adjust” doesn’t work properly and just makes general daily vacuuming incredibly frustrating. We had an old shark corded stick vacuum that was half the price and worked 3x as well. The battery dies so quickly that I can’t even make it through one room and when I do attempt to sit it against a wall anywaywhere to charge, it immediately slides down and slams to the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
