Cordless lightweight vacuum

I purchased this to use in my bedroom for dog hair.I like the additional attachments for use on walls, shade & hard to reach spaces...Does take time to get use to,I found the instructions vague & had to use YouTube...Wish the self empty bin was an option for this model...

Broke the second day!

The roller fell off the second day I used it! It caught on the edge of the rug and now it continues to fall out everytime I use it. Can’t believe I spent money on this.

Great little machine

So glad I took the leap and bought this vacuum. The amount of dirt I pick up each time I use it is insane! I love how I can switch to different cleaning modes, and being able to bend the stick helps to reach those hard to get spots. Just buy it, you won’t be disappointed. I had a Dyson for 14 years and was apprehensive I wouldn’t like this as much, but I do, if not more! Worth it!

All except kitty litter

I bought this unit primarily to pick up kitty litter. The one thing it doesn't do exceptionally well is pick up kitty litter. Disappointing. I tale off the beater attachment and it works well , but not what I was expecting

It sucks but not in a good way

I usually love everything Shark except for this horrible vacuum. I hate it! The 70 minute run time is a joke but the biggest problem is the suction head and rollers -- they have quit so many times . They're clean, I put it back on and it runs for a few more times then same thing again -- it stops sucking and the rollers stop turning. I do not like the way it whirs up and down, gets louder when it is cleaning at certain angles, it's just annoying.

Powerful but flawed.

I bought this a few weeks ago to replace our previous vacuum which had started to have mechanical issues.
Pros:
- It does a great job of cleaning and so far I haven't seen any issues with hair getting tangled on the roller.
- Doesn't require holding down a trigger to run it.
- Emptying it is relatively easy compared to some other stick vacuums. The dust bin pivots out from the bottom, I've had others that needed to be held at odd angles to empty the bin.
- Based on my limited experience, it does work on both hard as well as carpeted surfaces which is great. Too many vacuums these days seem to only really work on one or the other.
- It does a great job of cleaning and so far I haven't seen any issues with hair getting tangled on the roller.
- Doesn't require holding down a trigger to run it.
- Emptying it is relatively easy compared to some other stick vacuums. The dust bin pivots out from the bottom, I've had others that needed to be held at odd angles to empty the bin.
- Based on my limited experience, it does work on both hard as well as carpeted surfaces which is great. Too many vacuums these days seem to only really work on one or the other.
Cons:
- The auto-detect mode needs to be sent back to the lab. I can't see any documents on how it actually works, but my experience is that we have faux wood floors with a strong pattern and in auto-detect it constantly wants to ramp up to high. On floors with a solid color detect appears to work fine. This is most annoying as their is no manual setting for "medium" only eco (low) and high.
- The switch for mode is a trigger that is right next to the hand grip. It takes a bit of getting used to, it would IMO be better to be on the top near power as there is room.
- It's fairly heavy. On paper 1 lb doesn't seem like much but in practice after a couple rooms it starts to become annoying. Especially on stairs.
- Under pros I noted how it empties. I want to note that the weight of the roller makes emptying more difficult as you need to support that extra weight (or stop to remove then reattach it).
- High mode (either manual or triggered by auto-detect) not only kills the battery but is super loud, I'm sure this is made more noticeable due to the placement of stick vac motors (vs an older style where the motor is further away from one's ears).
- Somewhat difficult to swivel, possibly due to weight, but it could be the wheel design. Going stright isn't an issue, but moving sideways feels like it requires extra effort.
