Great battery life

Works much better than our Dyson and it’s great not having to change vacuum heads when going from wood flooring to carpet!

This vaccuum worked OK initially but after about 2 months it barely suctions and dog hair clogs the brush roll within about 60 seconds of vacuuming. For reference, I have only one dog (short hair) and all hard floors. I never had this issue with my Dyson, even when I had multiple long hair dogs in my home.

Makes Vacuuming Not So Bad!

Looked over options over and over as I was not sure about the power/suction of a cordless vacuum. I finally decided on the Shark PowerDetect Cordless vacuum and from the first use I was sold! Great suction, easy to use without having to plug in throughout the house and attachments are easy to transition too. Highly recommend for hassle-free vacuuming.

LOVE this model. This is my 3rd Shark vac and I am thrilled with it. It's lightweight, powerful, easy to maneuver. Everything about it is convenient and easy to use.

disappointing overall

honestly i had high hopes for this vacuum- i thought if i spent more money on a vacuum it would be closer to what i need. i want a cordless vacuum, light weight, for floors and low pile rugs. from the very first use, this vacuum stalled out several times over inability to pick up small items, like a small piece of candy wrapper. it drags on rugs, so you basically have to push it. the side detect feature doesn't actually work very well. the vacuum is heavy on top and cramped my hand after a few minutes of use. the swivel on the very bottom is very loose and flops all over the place. the battery did not last long (maybe 15 minutes?) when run on mostly high suction, which was necessary because it did not suck well on the regular setting.
i like the light feature on the vacuum to see where i was vacuuming, the mid- swivel setting to get under things, and the high suction setting is pretty strong.
overall, i'm disappointed and don't think this vacuum was worth the money and will be more of a hassle than help cleaning.
