Issues starting to show up ...

Well it's been four weeks and issues are starting to show up. I purchased two Discover 1 bikes, rear racks and phone mounts. The hand grip on one of the bikes is stripped and spinning around and we are not able to tighten it. Solution, send a video, pictures and they will analyze. My luck repair approved and simple wait 7-10 days for new one. The front brake will not stop the bike and when you pull on it, it comes all the way back to the handle bar. They will send me a new brake, another 7-10 days for part to arrive however need to take to local shop to install. Then I order a phone mount and it was shipped with the wrong size screw so you can't install, wait yet another 7-10 days for screw. Know, I know these may seem like small issues but to me little things matter.

Great speed some chain

I love riding my new bike! Unfortunately after 60 miles the chain keeps popping and off and there is some problem with the shifter. This wouldn’t be that big of a deal except that the pedal triggers the motor so now the motor accelerates when I don’t expect it to.The bike shops I’ve taken it to refuse to work on e-bikes because of their insurance policy.Would love any guidance or support .

Chain issues

I only have 30 miles on the bike but the derailleur is broken. Can someone please contact me. The pulley isn't catching the chain so there is no tension. As a result the pedal assist kicks in randomly because the pedal isn't attaching properly to the chain. I think the crux of the issue is the derailleur is missing half of it. Can you please send me a new derailleur or help in some way.

I bought the Discovery 1 based on a recommendation by Consumer Reports. Boy they were spot on. Everything about this bike exudes quality. Very easy to assemble, nice little tool kit, and comes with extra fasteners.All that being said it was the test ride that closed the deal. Not only does this e-bike run like a dream, it is most comfortable to bike that I have ever ridden. Bought one for both my wife and me, and I could tell by the smile on her face she felt the same.If you’re on the fence please consider the Discover 1. I don’t believe you can find a better combination of quality, functionality, and price.
