Bought 2 Discover 1 e-bikes in Mango and Cyan. Easy to assemble. Love the styling, these bikes are beautiful! Very solid and well crafted. Have ridden about 20 miles on hills and I’m very impressed. Plenty of power and battery lasts really well. Totally jazzed to takes on a long ride!

I’m back to bicycling after a long hiatus,I’ve ridden my new Discover 1 2 times last week, still getting used to it but so far so good!

I think the bike is well packaged for shipping. It was pretty easy to put together. I did a lot of research before deciding on Velotric. I was a bit worried about the power of the motor. I have a lot of hills around my house. That is the main reason I don't ride my old manual mountain bike around my neighborhood. But, with some pedaling and the motor helping me out, I zip up some steep, long hills. Good brakes. Shifts smoothly. Looks good. I like it a lot.

The bike performs well however the manual gear shifting is spotty. If shifting up or down it requires some ti e before the chain will skip up and down on the gear cluster and even slip on the gear. Once it figures out where it wants to run it will settle down and run well in that gear until the next manual shift. I don’t know how to cure the problem,My other difficulty is the digital readout. There does not appear to be a way to set the clock nor the other functions nor what they are for. I have traveled near fifty five miles so far. One intermediate battery charge.

I haven't been able to truly enjoy my new bike because of technical issues with the bike, specifically the rear light/brake light not working. I contacted support (had to upload a video and pictures before they would help), and their direction was to disconnect/reconnect the wires connecting the motor controller. While I'm fairly technical and mechanical, doing this on a brand new bike was a little concerning. It also didn't solve the problem.I can ride the bike and all other features work, but it's disappointing that it has the lighting issue out of the box. Support has been responsive, but it feels like what they've done so far is just stall tactics.
