Discovering the Discover 1

Love my new e-bike! We live near the top of a long hilly road, and this bike safely gets me down the hill and very quickly (13-20 mph at maximum assist) gets me back up. When I turn off to a trail through the woods, the bike handles all the rocks and roots on the path. Gives all the pleasures of cycling with a lot less effort and enables effortless speed where I would struggle on a regular bike. Also, looks very cool, and was well-priced.

Great Bike, full featured, high capacity UL battery

Love the bike, terrific value. I do think it could use a larger chain ring to reduce pedaling speed in higher assist levels! Also front fender lower bracket is too narrow at the tire. Looks like it was designed for narrower tire!

I purchased the Velotric Discover 1 after evaluating several competitor models. It have good reviews by professionals who had test rode it. I also test rode one at a bike shop. It has enough power to climb hills typically encountered on a commute.
