Fantastic bike

I looked online for quite some time before choosing a pair of Velotric bikes. I have been impressed (40 miles in so far) with how well made they are. Assembly was pretty easy, though I don't care for the front fender - it's a bit hard to get lined up properly. Aside from that, these bikes have been great. The range is phenomenal. If you are pedaling at assist level 1, the range would far exceed the 65 miles listed. After 40 miles, including some riding mine at assist 5, the battery just dropped down two notches (so 3/5 still left). Very impressed with the battery thus far. These have been perfect for my wife and I and we look forward to taking them on trips.

I’m 70 years old and found it much more enjoyable to ride more upright and easier to get off with the step through after my average 15-20 mile ride.

Very happy with the bike! Took it for first ride today and was pleasantly surprised with how powerful it is. Quickly accelerates. Pretty fast even with low pedal assist and minimal effort. Still figuring hills out with proper gears.

What a delightful riding experience. I bought the Discover 1 ST a month ago and had it shipped directly to my local bike shop for assembly and minor adjustments. I quickly transitioned from my 30-year old Trek to "BlueBelle" (Discover 1). Smooth ride, easy to maneuver, and looks cool. So happy with this purchase.

Minor issues

The only issue I got when the bike arrived is the derailleur hanger is bent. The process to request a replacement is quite slow. I wish the bike was actually ready to run out of the box. Many adjustments were needed to ensure my safety on the road. Unfortunately my bike has been in the shop waiting for the hanger to arrive, so I was unable to ride the bike. Although there were minor defects, the bike is very beautiful in person and the overall quality of the bike is pretty adequate. Without these minor issues I am experiencing, the bike would receive a solid 5 stars
