I am a single female 70 years old. I struggled with the front wheel and brake adjustment. My daughter came over to help. But we really struggled to get the battery to lock. I am afraid to take it out now. I have only ridden it once but I truly enjoyed my ride!

I love the bike.Road 26 miles today, half the miles without the assist just to see how it peddled. Not bad at all. The only complaint I have is Iwish I could slow the assist speeds down in each gear as I like to just pedal slow with the assist at times. Its either assist at 11mph or no assist and adjust the manual gears. Maybe there is a adjustment in the controller. Will check out. Overall, awesome bike

I knew I wasn't strong enough for a regular bike. So we opted for an electric bike. I went from using the throttle mode often to rarely in just a few weeks! My balance and confidence is growing with every ride. The tires are just the perfect width for the occasional rough places on a trail or concrete cracks on a trail. The thumb throttle and left hand controls are easy to reach and learn. Features that I would like the option of adding now that I have ridden the basic model are...a left side mirror, an option for a handlebar extender to raise the handlebars so I don't have to lean as much weight on my arms/wrists. I am 5 ft 4 but would like the option of sitting up straighter when on a more leisurely ride. But the current configuration works great for riding 10 or more miles at a time. Husband and I have talk about making the Velotric available to rent in our area.

Bought three bikes after riding our friends. Really impressed with the build quality and the ability to haul my 6'2" 250# butt around. Great bike for the money.

I think the chip area should not be at the bottom of the bike since rain can get into it easily and cause problems. Also, if there is a way to protect the battery plug on the bike from rain it would be great

Bike-Great. I love it, it’s not fast but it’s got good mileage which is what I think anyone is getting these for. It’s comfy but not something you’d take on the tour de france. Easy to get on, lots accessories on the house, simple design. The brakes absolutely suck on these bikes. Mechanical disc brakes that squeal louder than a pig pen. They stop you but they give the bike the wrong attention, but i’m not usually on the brakes ;)Overall Id love to look into a second battery option from the company to keep on the back rack for really long trips. Or a second bike for my dad and the same reason. They put out a decent bike for their flagship model and I would recommend. This bike isn’t for everyone’s needs so make sure to do research.

I've had the bike for about a month now and loved it so far. I'm not going to elaborate on how great it is, but I'll focus on the areas to improve instead. - The LCD display was damaged upon delivery. Velotric was very responsive with the issue and quickly sent me replacement part. - The front disc break needs some adjustment which is normal. However It requires some effort to get the disc into the centered position, as the break assembly doesn't give much after loosening both top and bottom bolts. In addition, the break adjustment should be mentioned in the main installation tutorial as I was mainly following that instead of following the manual.- Accessory option is fairly limited. I was looking for a cargo basket that be mounted to the rear rack, and it wasn't easy to find one. After trying a few, I settled with a Wald 582 folding basket.
