Flattens the hills!

Bike works fine for what I want. I live in the mountains. I have lots and of 6% grade, one 18%, and my driveway is 12%. I ride them all with the Discover 1. I have to pedal on the 12%. I like putting it in assist 2 which takes me at about 12 mph and 80 rpm in 3rd gear. I work at the level to keep my heart rate where I want it. I did my first battery charge after pulling the battery down to two bars, which probably was around 30% of charge left. Since this was after 40 miles, a full discharge would probably have given me 60 miles. If I had used assist 1 I would have climbed the hills at 8 mph, spending more time on the uphills, and doing more of the work myself, and getting even more distance out of the battery. The bike is solid and the brakes are smooth and great. They hold the bike easily on the 18% grade.

Was packaged very well and easy to assemble, had it about a week so far no issues. Seat is not the most comfortable but better then some.
