Needs work

I love the look of this bike. I feels high quality and is fun to ride but the pedal assist has a lag to engage when you first start pedaling that can really be alarming once it takes. My wife has an e-bike from a different brand and it engages much quicker and more smoothly. It's a big issue for me as it can take you off guard and cause accidents. I hope they can fix this.

I got it because it checked every box I wanted and it was cheaper than any other I could find. I love it so much it’s quick, sturdy, sleek, ergonomic, and the battery is crazy

Makes Riding Fun Again

I bought my wife an e-bike for Christmas. She had stopped riding a bicycle because her knees hurt from her job which required standing all day. Long story short, she is riding every chance she gets. I traded my 10 speed for a new Velotric Discover 1 as well, and now we cruise all over the place. Even bought a bike rack for my vehicle so we can explore other places further from home. Good exercise and lots of fun to be outdoors together again. We are retired but it is easy to get comfortable riding the Discover 1.

I am so very pleased with my new Velotric Discover 1 power bike. It arrived on time and in very good condition. The assembly required a little more effort than I expected, as we had some trouble with the front fender and head light. It was all very worth the effort! I am enjoying my bike even more than I anticipated. The controls are very easy to read and the performance is wonderful. I get compliments and inquiries on every ride. I feel this bike is the best combination of quality features and a reasonable price point. Great bike!

So far so good

Just purchased 2 of these. Have only put on 40 or 50 miles, has been cold here , so far so good. I feel it it is a good value for the money. I had been looking for a long time , these have the 500 watt motor and a very nice battery. Only thing I wish it had a higher gear , have to peddle to fast at high speeds. I am very happy with it so far . We ride mostly on paved paths so we went with the lighter bike . Really glad I went with the step though, was debating on it or highstep, I am shorter 5’ 6” and 63 years young, and so much easier to get on and off.
