I have had my e-bike out several times since I purchased it. They have been shorter rides so I could get used to the feel of an e-bike. So far I love it! The gearing is smooth (but the gearing needs to expand for higher speeds), and the ride is also great even on rougher surfaces. The assembly of the bike itself was tricky. There are a number of typos that really left a couple of critical steps unclear (especially concerning the handlebar assembly). The disc brake adjustment is persnickety...a great deal of patience is needed to get it set right.Overall, a great bike!!

Nothing fits

I have spent the two days since Christmas tring to get my wife's Discover 1 present to go together. Several screws needed to hold parts to the handlebar, for example, were missing. The "extra screws" that came in the box don't fit - either too short, too long, or wrong diameter. The battery refuses to go into its hole; I really don't want to take a hammer to it, but I'm ready to do just that. I got most of the parts attached using my own screws, but the battery - so necessary for running the bike will not go in. The rear rack went on, with some silicone persuasion, and the shipping box was adequate, but the bike is a major pain. I would complain about "quality control", but I haven't seen sufficient quality to mak such a complaint.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was afraid it might be hard to handle, but this bike is great! I’m 62 and haven’t ridden for a while, but this bike has me back out! Love it!

My hubby and I got our bikes early December and absolutely love them !! We have riden them every day and enjoy them more and more each ride !! The ride is smooth and any surface that we have encountered has been great. We would highly recommend these bikes !! Happy Riding !!

I love the Discover 1 my wife has in Cyan and the Nomad I have in indigo grey! Much better than my last e-bike. I don’t have to charge battery near as often and power is consistent. Her cruiser step through has a more comfortable upright position. My all terrain highstep is comfy too, just a little more sporty position. 10 out of 10
