My wife absolutely loves this bike!

The step-thru design is perfect for my 5'4" wife, the controls are easy to manipulate, it is surprisingly powerful. The 5 levels of pedal assist provide reassurance once she tires, thus promoting longer ride times. This bike has performed flawlessly and is a high quality produc, right down to the welds. Very happy with our purchase.

The bike and material quality

The bike and material quality is good, but the assembly experience was terrible. The assembly instructions were clearly from a few models prior since they didn't correspond to my bikes in about 50% of the details. TERRIBLE. How hard is it to update assembly instructions? Also, a few more clarifying pictures would be helpful. Plus on one of the bikes the screws for were the kickstand goes (which again isn't even mentioned in the instructions) were so overtightened that I striped the hex head on the bolt and had to drill out the screw. The light mounts were totally not explained for the model I received and the screws weren't labelled and just a bunch of random screws in a bag. Nothing about the bell attachment or reflectors... The attachment for the seat was randomly apart and one piece laying under all the packing in the box. The list goes on. It turned a potentially fun experience of receiving the bikes into a arduous and unpleasant experience. No reason you had to make it that way. Whoever is in charge of this aspect of the produce needs a kick in the ass and they should get there ass over to the factory and shipping location. Totally sucked.

We got 2 of the Discover bikes and could be happier about the purchase. So far they are operating as advertised. Support from Velotric has been good.

BIKE LOOKS GOOD BUT I AM NOT ABLE TO PUT IT TOGETHER BECAUSE THE TOOLS ARE MISSING.NO ALLEN, NO SCREWDRIVER AND NO WRENCH.TALKED TO A FRIEND WITH A BIKE FOR A LOAN OF HIS TOOLS TO SEE IF THEY FIT ON THIS BIKE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is very well constructed and has everything that I was looking for!! I enjoy my daily rides and will for a long time. I'm 77 and it's perfect for me.

Great product for older folks

We bought two and we are now doing 5-10 miles a day after only having them for a month. I have had a couple of questions, the paper work is lacking. But email gets a very guilty response.
