Fantastic bike

I’ve tried 4 different e-bikes before a friend recommended this one. Love the pedal assist because it goes aways when you stop pedaling. Some I’ve tried you have to pedal constantly. Also love the throttle for easy start up from stop signs.

Discovery 1+ vs Discovery 2

At 65, I recently purchased a Discover 2 to get me back into biking . I absolutely love it. Shortly thereafter, I was able to rent a Discover 1 from a local shop for the wife to try out. She loved it enough where we bought her a D1+ for her own. She's 5' and thinks the D1 is a perfect fit for her small frame ( largely due to the smaller tires on the D1 vs D2 I'd guess). She also prefers the cadence sensor for the instant feedback in acceleration. Having ridden both, I can say that they are both great bikes. The D1 feels "sportier" than the D2 to me.

I don't have the Discover 1 Plus ebike. My friend and I both have Discover 1 ebikes.I am so happy with my bike that I ride at least 20 miles every single day. If I can't ride for some reason, my day just doesn't have the "happy" I require.I have rode almost 2,000 miles since December 2023.After the passing of his father, my son stayed at the house with me for a while. The only time he felt a little less crushed was when he was out riding with me on the DiscoverSo...he just ordered a bike for himself.I tell everyone who asks about the amazing bike I own.I am more than satisfied with my bike! Best purchase ever!

Honestly one of the most annoying bikes to change back tire ...not once in 30 years have i ever had issues getting a tire off

Everything she wanted!

At 65, I wanted to try this E-bike thing and eventually purchased a Discover 2 for myself a month back. Then one day last week, I rented my wife a Discover 1 from the same shop and took both out for a "short try out". Well, 2 hrs and 15+ mi later, we returned and she was grinning ear to ear. We had switched off during the rid a bit and she decided she liked toe lower height and cadence drive of the D1 over my taller , Torque drive D2. While I preferred the D2, I had to admit the D1 was really nice. It actually felt a little sportier than the D2. In any case, we now own one of each and have started enjoying some exploring and exercise time together. Turns out, these are much more than E bikes. They are a gateway to finding more fun time together while getting in some exercise.

New purchase.

Bought in April from an Authorized Dealer and have ridden about 200 miles. So far everything is great. Had to have the front fork replaced due to making a clicking noise, but no safety issues. Dealer was great and managed to get the work completed in one day after receiving the part. Having an e-bike is great for the last few miles of a long ride, long uphills, or when going home against the wind.

So far it has been great. Easy to put together. Rides so far have been excellent. After 9 knee surgeries I needed some help to continue exercising and I have alway loved riding.
