Ordered two Discover 1 bikes. My wife and I are liking them very much so far. Less than 100 miles on them. Comfortable. Peddle assist works great. We ride on mostly paved trails but should be good on crushed rock too. Assemby went pretty well although 1st bike took much longer than 2nd. Front wheel installation is the hardest thing. Not easy to line up disc brake at the same time as getting fork over wheel. A 2nd person would be helpful. Battery life seems great. Colors: Silver and Teal. Step thru.

Bought my Velotric bike and LOVE everything about it!! It is so easy to ride and I love that you can work hard if you’d like or adjust the pedal assist to a higher level and just sit back and relax. And if you don’t want to pedal at all, the throttle is so easy to use. I have some medical issues and this bike lets me get out and enjoy our gorgeous scenery.

Discovery 1 - love it!

I've only had the Discovery 1 for about a month but love it already. Easy to put together but will require two people in my opinion. Parts of the instructions weren't always clear, but pieces fit together so you pretty much know what goes where. At the time of purchase, I wish I would have bought the back wheel rack and larger bag to carry items such as a water bottle. Also, the mirror. Rides very smoothly and seat is comfortable after making several adjustments.

This is my first e-bike purchase and was looking to make an entry level purchase. With so many different brands out there I felt it important to put in the time to figure out which brands were reputable and seemed to over quality product. It really came down to Velotric and Aventon. I chose Velotric and have been glad I have ever since. Ordering online was easy, delivery was timely, and the setup wasn’t hard - though I will say it’s not just unpack and go - it does take a little effort to get things together. But instructions were clear and there are YouTube videos to support. I’m just so impressed with the smoothness, the speed, and levels of assist. Unlock the speed control and 25 mph is pretty sweet! Haven’t had a ton of opportunity to use, but definitely looking forward to rides this summer.

My discover one is crap

I haven't even gone 2,000 miles and now I have to replace the controller cuz it makes buzzing noises and the hub motor because it's making loud loud grinding noises and on my way home had a massive power drop in my motor and it wouldn't even make it up a 10% incline and they don't even have any hub motors in stock to replace mine that does not work so how am I supposed to get to and from work!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the third Discover1 I have purchased. First two was for me and my wife This one for our daughter Our bikes ha close to 2000 miles on them and enjoying every minute of them Can’t wait to give this one to our daughter.
