The bike is great. My wife is 5’2” I’m 6’1”. We both ride. We only have to adjust the seat. Light is bright. Shifts smoothly. Easy to pedal w/o using pedal assist. So far I’ve only used pedal assist 1. Only issue is the front suspension. Suspension seems loose. Overall love the bike looking at purchasing another one for my wife

So Fun!

We just received our Velotric Discovery yesterday. I was expecting it to be fun, but wow! Easy to assemble, Great safety features with the lights, reflectors and fenders. We are in Florida so the only hills are the bridges- so for us , the advertised 15.5 mph speed is definitely under rated. Assist one is 14mph, Assist two is 17mph, and assist three is 20mph. More speed than I needed when I cruised up and down the coastal beach roads today. The tires are rated up to 65 psi, the Shimano gears are very good quality, and the disc brakes are very smooth. So although the bike is rather heavy, it pedals nicely even with zero power assist. What a great way to commute, or just go site seeing. I’ll be ordering another Velotric bike today so that my wife and I can go exploring the advertised 60 miles per battery charge.

So far we are very pleased with it. Haven’t been able to go for a ride yet. Just got mine together. Been too hot and humid to ride. Rode mine around a little and was very impressed. My husband did the same.

This is a superior product and well worth the $ (and the wait to receive it). Assembly was easy. The fit and finish of the bike is great. And it is a really nice looking machine!! The ride is solid. The sense of freedom and thrill of the ride is exceptional.

I use this bike as my daily commuter. It rides great has been very dependable and is more comfortable than I imagined. I travel 28 miles, round trip, so I'm getting my money's worth from the bike. Would love to see hydraulic brakes and integrated turn signals on it, just for additional safety. Great bike and will recommend to all family and friends!!!

We really enjoy our Discover 1 bikes. Never thought that at 60 yrs old I'd be getting back on a bike, but Velotric has made it fun and easy. The bikes are solidly built and very sleek and stylish with 5 colors to choose from. We bought all 5 so we can ride with our grandchildren. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the brakes could be better, and the wait to get them can be longer than promised. They are coming out with hydraulic brakes soon, so that issue may be taken care of.

Feel Like a Kid Again!!

This bike is amazing; my wife and I (both in our 70s) are feeling like kids again as we can go riding, and get some needed exercise, but use the Peddle Assist feature when the 'going' gets tough! This bike has it all and the accessories included are amazing; once you ride this bike you will never want to go back to a regular bike! Compare this bike to any other Ebike on the market and you will understand why this is a super deal; our only regret is that we didn't buy one earlier!
