Good range, bad setup

The battery is amazing, motor is great! Setting up the bike is a different story though. Wheels aren’t true so the rotors scrap on the brake pads both rear and front, derailleur wasn’t properly adjusted so my chain was clicking while I was shifting gears on the stand and lubing it up ( took about an hour to adjust due to the cable being loose), bottom bracket is creaky after a week of riding, and the tires are supposedly puncture resistant but my rear tube was taken out by a small staple. Couldn’t believe it but it happened lol. Other than that it’s a good bike just gotta take it apart and put it back together correctly when you buy it. Battery life is awesome though. Was able to do 102 miles switching between no assist and assist level 1 & 2 for hills. Great bike just wish they took a little better care in the QC dept and the assembly process.

Great Bike

We ordered two of the Discover 1 bikes and love them. With the multiple assist levels you can get as much exercise as you want. Set it at level one and it’s like riding a regular bike, get to a hill and up the assist level and your up the hill without killing your legs.

The service diagnostics was thorough and the necessary part was ordered and delivered promptly. l installed the part and the problem was solved. Excellent service overall. I purchased the bike from a friend so it was my first experience with Velotric, couldn't have been better.

A great bike. It was easy to assemble, easy to operate. It it is a lot of fun. The upright position swept back handlebars, comfortable seat, smooth ride, easy control and range.

What a great experience, start to finish! When I say finish, I mean putting our bikes together and then taking our first test drive. Our bikes were so well packaged and the quality of these bikes at this price point cannot be matched. Well done Velotric.

We bought a pair of bikes to enjoy the bike path and the freedom from being in a car. The bikes are great and we have put on 200 miles on them in the past month.

Beautiful colors,fun to ride. Totally quiet. Pedal assist and gear shifter easy to use,no hesitation. Excellent help riding into the wind,even at level 1. Great ergonomic grips for arthritic hands. The brakes are quick and stopping distance is short. Not a fan of the seat. Altho generous size,my lower back hurt. Switched it out with a split design seat. Shock absorption is a very welcome relief,altho it adds much weight to the bike. We are in our mid 70's and look forward to riding at least another decade together on these bikes!And the price was very reasonable!Get this e-bike!
