The build quality and value of this bike are exceptional.I've built my own e-bike and one for my wife about 5 yeears ago before many were available. Since then, I've modified and tweaked the setup and accy to improve and optimize. The Velotric Discover is amazingly close to where our bikes are now...but at about half the price :-) I bought because the one thing I cant change on our bikes is the frame geometry, and my wife needs a low standover height frame. Im picky and very impressed with the build quality ... Especially at this price point..

if your over 6ft 1 and 220lbs it is a joke no adjustments..

their support guys don't own bikes nor have ever even seen this bike or road one.. they sell no accessories.. The same bike sold for a woman 5-5 as for a guy over 6 ft twice the size. Guy told me to buy this bike on the 800 number.. not the other one.. call me i will sell it for half price.. still new..Bought 2, thinking we could ride for 30 miles through the private reserves. can't get comfortable. barely any adjustments. and they sell no parts to change some small configuration.. if you want a basket for your bike call them..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Discover

I purchased it 2 weeks before Christmas 2023 and had it shipped to a bike shop in Palm Springs California and they delivered it at no extra charge .I was so thrilled to be riding it and it has more than enough speed for my level roads within our gated community in Indio California. everything is laid out well and power assist is smooth .Braking is smooth as well as acceleration from a stationary position.

The price initially guided us to these bikes, then all the u-tube videos praising the bike. The features: front fork suspension, hydraulic brakes, integrated UL battery, 440 lb capacity, and the look of the bike. No local bike shops at the time we purchased (are several now, which is also encouraging). We took a plunge and got two step-through Discover bikes....and we love them I am 6'5" 295 lbs. and the added on velotric handlebar post extension it fits me great, as does the wife at 5'5" 110 lbs. Love the Step through design and the beefy yet elegant build. Very impressed with hill climbing of the 500-watt velotric branded motor and the battery range and battery quality, Overall, I would strongly recommend this bike and Velotric was very responsive on all our question prior to and after the sale.
