Fast Assistance for Panel Replacement

I was upset the panel broke when my bike fell over. Getting fast assistance to get the part and thus fixed quickly made everything better.

Great E Bike but don't put to much weight on back rack I had a dry wetsuit water bottle in back pack made bike very unstable speed wobbles at low and higher speeds be ready

First, I have been riding and repairing bicycles for fun for 50 years continuously. I've just never been very athletic and that's not improving with age. I bolted a mid-drive kit onto an old mountain bike last year, and though I have enjoyed it, I needed a shock fork and better brakes. I bought my Discover 1 on a Black Friday special - apparently the very CHEERFUL cyan color wasn't popular, as it was the lowest price. The amount of packing in the shipping carton was impressive, and the contents were complete and intact. Assembly was pretty simple. The derailleur wouldn't shift onto the largest sprocket (unsurprising when a derailleur bike has been shipped) but that's a simple adjustment. Also the rear brake was not as tight as the front - kind of the wrong way around. The instructions show a different bracket for the headlight than mine - I think it would be better if the light was out in front of the cables, which mine is not. Also, the website says the rims are 27.5" and mine are 26" - not a big deal, just wondering why. Also, 26X2.5 is kind of an odd size - most MTB tubes are labeled 2.4" max.Once assembled, I found the seat and riding position comfortable (I stand 5'10"), but the water bottle mount is a long reach down for me. I may also get straighter handlebars at some point. The rear rack mounted easily and is really strong. The display is easy to read, but the manual doesn't say how to change settings like miles / kilometers - I had to go on YouTube for details. Lights are fine at night. I haven't gone very far yet, but a 15 mile round trip hardly used any battery at all, according to the display. It corners pretty well for a heavy machine, and I can take one hand off the bars to signal, which I could not on my home-brewed machine. I think I'll set the fork for a little firmer ride. I have to use a little force when installing the battery - it lost contact on the first ride. The bike rolls well on flat surfaces with the power off, and I can use all 7 gears in lower assist levels - on my old bike I only used the low ones. Hitting a bump at speed with the rear tire pumped up hard can cause the rear wheel to leave the ground - disconcerting but not a real problem. I really like the big platform pedals, since I have wide feet. Many lower priced bikes don't bother with good pedals, so I appreciate this. And why does the rear hub take an 18 mm wrench? All my metric sets have 17 and 19, but not 18, so I had to order one. Not a problem, it just seems odd.To summarize, I think Velotric made the right component choices in putting together a good performing but economical machine. I'm going to have a lot of fun on this one.

We weren’t sure how much we’d ride before purchasing so this was a great, reasonably priced choice that had everything we were looking for and also had very positive reviews from current owners. I think we’re getting out much more than we expected and look forward to bringing them on our next adventure out West.

Figured out the problem. Had a friend who works on motorcycles adjust the brakes for me since they operate very similar. Need a video on adjusting brakes. Love the bikes a lot of fun.
