Versatile bag for everyday needs
on May 27, 2020

Let me say I've had my bag for 3 years now. This bag absolutely fits everyday needs. I first purchased this bag because I wanted a cool baby backpack. The dividers broke up extra clothes, diapers, wipes and food nicely. Side pockets held both my 40oz and 24oz hydro flasks. When I am not carrying baby stuff, it works well with my photography stuff. I can place my Sony camera with extra lenses nicely. It also holds my DJI spark. When I'm in the office, it carry's my laptop and lunch nicely. Great overall bag to travel with. Storage spaces carry extra stuff and toiletries.

Very Impressed

Overall impression of the bag so far is above what I had expected. The bag just FEELS sturdy and hardy. I have to haul all my camera gear from home and work every day and it fits everything perfectly. Drone and controller, full DSLR with a sizeable lens and space for a spare lens, two miniature tripods in the bottom, my microphone, laptop, notebook, and I've still got little compartments I don't even know what to do with. I have stuff in there that I'll probably never use because of how much storage there is. GoPro and Osmo Pocket fit in the side storage easily. Regardless, I love this bag. Everything is organized and easy and it's ten times better than just fitting everything into a normal backpack or having to take the whole pack off and set it down to get out one item like most front loaded camera packs satisfied on all fronts. Good build. I'll have this one for a very long time.

Not as good as V1 but a top tier bag

I love the new additions to the bag, but it feels like you took away on quality. I am upset that the straps create more discomfort on my shoulders. The V1 everyday backpack you had it perfectly. Also water bottle side pocket is stiff. Otherwise its good and I love the magnets everywhere.

excellent bag, could use a couple improvements in the next version.

Excellent bag with incredible ease of access. The shoilder straps are less comfortable than I expected, especially when weighed down. I would opt out of the luggage cart strap, in order to have more comfortable should straps and back pad. I love the sleek and clean design as well as all the attachment points for gear. A lot of thought was put into the design. The next version could also use a crumb tight top divider, so that food stored in the top of the bag doesn't get into the lower sections with camera gear. It would also be nice if the bag came with the waist belt included, especially for the price.

Excellent bag, but needs better carrying system
on June 22, 2020

I probably repeat what several others already wrote here: great bag, lots of good detail (I never thought that the magnets holding the shoulder straps in place when not used where helpful, but I was wrong), good quality, enough space for a full day hiking with kids plus all the camera gear. However, the shoulder straps are not as comfortable as they should be. The bag loaded with a camera, some lenses, the carbon fiber PD tripod – which I love, a water bottle, some snacks, a rain coat, and a few other day trip items leads to a significant weight. Carrying that for a day with the thin shoulder straps and not having a weight carrying hip belt is uncomfortable. So when deciding on whether to buy this backpack, it's kind of a trade-off: either the perfect organization system, easy access to everything, tons of individual pockets, great quality, but underdesigned carrying system; or a good day hiking backpack with a solid carrying system (well padded shoulder straps and weight carrying hip belt), but complete chaos in the bag where you can't find what you are looking for.
I will now switch back and forth between the 30 liter PD bag and a designated hiking backpack, based on the respective trip.

Using the everyday backpack for work and home

I love to bring my camera everywhere I travel to for either work or pleasure. The everyday backpack allows me to carry my laptop, tablet, phone, camera and a lens or two and speedlight flash. Its very comfortable and rugged enough to take on a plane.

"If you know, you know"

This is the type of backpack where if you know, you know. It's this small little community of approving, efficiency appreciative headnods from pleased onlookers while your flight is boarding. The versatility and high end fabrication of this bag makes you forget your life before it. Buy the bag.
