I bought this for my everyday backpack to use while running errands in town, but still needing my 'work' gear for our small business. I underestimated the size of the 30L, so I returned the bag. Possibly going to purchase the 20L, since it's the same feature rich bag - just on a smaller scale.
I bought this as soon could slim down all the bags I have, it’s great as my everyday, and amazing when out for a day shooting it’s easy to get in and out of, secure and comfortable, I will be looking at getting the hip belt to match. And the midnight blue is a great colour!!!
I first bought the v1 version of this bag a few years ago and it transformed how I carry. I naturally overpack/over prepare so I was shocked to have room for everything and some.
Upgrading to the v2 felt like an experience. Everything is so familiar but masterfully refined. I take this bag with me EVERYWHERE. Work, shoots, adventures, road trips? Not a day goes by where it isn’t on my back. I can’t complain about it at all. Thank you peak for making my forever backpack. My search is over!
This Bag is pretty great. *Click Chi-kunk* In particular I really like the *Click Chi-kunk* top flap which makes this wonderful *Click Chi-kunk* sound every time you open and close it *Click Chi-kunk* Honestly I'm kinda addicted to the *Click Chi-kunk* sound
I've brought this backpack on trips around the world. Its reconfigurable interior and dedicated pockets gave me plenty of ways to store my stuff. Its straps and loops allowed me to attach drones and blankets when I needed. The expandable main pocket is also nice for when I need to carry just a little more stuff. If I had one complaint, it's that the backpack is a bit heavy and too insulating for hot days.
The zipper for the laptop pocket broke after a few years, but Peak Design replaced the backpack for me.
The Everyday Backpack v2 (30L) is a great backpack. Versatile, high quality and well designed. The backpack features some nice upgrades from the v1. But I must say I really don't like the way the dual side access has been redesigned. On the v1 the would open all the way up, and lay flat when the backpack was placed lying down. And the side pockets where large. On the v2 the side access don't open all the way up. And the pockets are smaller. On the other hand the v1 features som nice upgrades that the v1 was missing. All in all the Everyday Backpack is amazing. But the dual side access needs to be fixed on the v3 :-)
