Disappointed with bag design and "features"

Let me first state that I am a huge fan of Peak Design, have been for a few years now, and own several products from their lines. This was my latest purchase, and I am disappointed with the quality and it's definitely below the standard of Peak Design products that I am used to.
The bag is way too small and the magnetic closure prevents any chance for you to put anything in the bag before it snaps close. There is barely enough space in the bag to put anything worth to carry a day's worth of items. On the outside of the bag, the front pocket is a smart idea, but the execution is poor. The interior pockets are way too small to store anything of importance, and the magnetic closure is flimsy. Furthermore, the back pocket does not have any secure zip to close it up.
The straps of the tote are not removable, only the crossbody handle is. I would advise that if you were looking for a primarily crossbody tote bag like I was, I would avoid this because the straps are stuck down the sides and very annoying.
The pros of this bag is the ingenious straps that you can strap anything from a jacket to a yoga mat to. I like the sleek and clean look of the bag overall, however I find it quite impractical to use. Furthermore, the supposed dividers they provide are quite useless to me, I find it hard to believe that they are used on a daily basis, and often times it just gets in my way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as anticipated

This was my first Peak purchase, and honestly I found this tote lacking. I was thinking there would be more grip on the tote straps and more thought in the cross-body strap. Why doesn't the strap have the same mechanism as the other bags (pivots at axial points)? It seemed like an afterthought to me. I returned the bag. Love the aesthetics but just wasn't for me. I want the tote design of the bag to be just as functional as the shoulder strap design.

I own five peak design products. I love this company. I accidentally melted the front of my everyday zip backpack and to replace it I impulsively ordered this tote. I needed something that could fit my drone+accessories and my action camera and accessories in a sling bag format. The 10L sling is slightly too small and the messenger bag is too unfit imho. Got the tote in the mail and it’s such a cool design. I love that all the closures are also magnetic. The bag organizes amazingly and has a ton of room. I’ll attach the field pouch to the front of the bag with the carry straps to give myself a couple extra liters depending on what I need to bring with me. It’s comfortable, spacious, and better than anything I wouldn’t dreamed up
I would recommend this to a friend!

High Quality Tote Bag

The specs say that it fits a 13 inch laptop with a width of 13 inches. I think this is wrong, it should say 12 inches. I have a Lenovo 13in (diagonal) laptop that is 12 inches wide. It just fits the bag with 1 finger margin. So a 13 in wide laptop will not fit. There are two outside pockets. The front has pocket has a zipper and a magnetic flap. Inside are 3 pockets on one side and 4 pockets on the other side. The 3 pockets are deeper and fit cables and such. the 4 pockets are shallow, and fit memory cards. The rear pocket has a magnetic flap and the luggage pass through loop. The pocket does not have any small pockets, and it only fits a regular sized business envelope. I wished the pocket were deeper. The flex-fold dividers cannot be put in the middle of the bag, because of pockets in the the middle of the bag, and not velcro. One pocket fits a cell phone, and on the other side there is a pen pocket and a smaller pocket that fits credit cards. As mentioned by other people the flex-fold dividers are fraying at the edges. Otherwise the bag is just the right size. Th functionality of the dividers are brilliant. I got the black version. The fabric is slightly abrasive, so that it will chafe against a fleece jacket. The two handles are internally padded and have a good feel to them. The shoulder strap is adjustable but I have not used the bag enough to tell if it has enough padding. Overall a great bag, but beware of the error on the laptop size.

Can the laptop compartment fit a 33.5cm? only 0.5cm over the stated width. Is it stretchy enough?

This is the most versatile bag I've ever owned. That's saying a lot. I own a lot of bags. Goes from an everyday carry to a great camera bag. I always carry this when traveling.

Was hesitant at first to buy as had experience a lot of hyped up brands. Then i rwad the multiple reviews and decided to give it a go. Was very impressed with the quality of the bag, very flexible in terms of how you can use it, and cherry on top the lifetime warranty, what more can you ask? Best value
