This is my second backpack. The first one was the 15L and it worked fantastic for two years until I realized the 20L is better suited to my travel needs.
The thoughtful design, the ingenious functionality and the sturdy construction gets you excited every time you use it.
Recently two TSA officers complimented me on the backpack and inquired extensively about its functions. Was happy to share that this is no ordinary backpack.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my backpack in November and it quite possibly is the best backpack I've ever owned. So convenient and accessible. I love the side access on both sides. I highly recommend this backpack. I got the gray one and I love the color

Great looks, challenging space
on March 22, 2025

Bought this a little while ago looking for a sleek unbranded pack. After numerous trips to Dubai and London I find this bag quite hard to get on with. There are some great points, the look, the comfort and the top zip pocket. After that it becomes hard to use day to day. There are literally no interior pockets apart from the side inner zip ones and the back laptop compartment is far too tight. I can get the laptop in (14 Mac) and little else. So my iPad and Kindle have to go in the front, eating valuable space. There is falls short of space due to the top lid design and the 20L size feels small very quickly. Even removing the dividers does not help much and I tend to use these to have my headphones at the bottom and the kindle in the middle. So, as a camera and lend back with a very small waterproof in the top, ok, but as a daily carry, unfortunately, hard to recommend.

It could be a great bag but not for everyone

I’ve been always Osprey person because they bags are great in every detail. I got Peak Design to be my all day long backpack for laptop, camera and lens and some accessories. I knew that I don’t need to use inside compartment dividers. Material looks robust and midnight color is my favourite. First issue, my 17” laptop did not fit inside the back pocket. Unfortunately, this is my work laptop which I carry every day. Back compartment was big enough for 13”mac. I liked small side pockets inside the main compartment but I didn’t find anything practical to store inside. Full side zipper might be great if used with internal dividers to easily access camera. I didn’t find practical use for them because if I need quick shots I carry a camera outside. Shoulder straps don’t hold and they need to be tightened often. It’s no big deal but still annoying compared to other brands. Side outside pockets should be higher and made of mesh to be more flexible. I ended up carrying there only napkins because a bottle was falling out when I bend. I did not find practical use from side holders. I carry backpacks on the back, not as a suitcase. And finally the biggest disappointment is the lack of ventilation on back so it can’t be used for hiking (considering higher pace).
It’s the first backpack I was giving away to my sister. The bag was fine but not worth the money and there were more disappointments than wow moments. The cost of the backpack is so high compared to Osprey or Deuter and they have many years of experiences. Peak Design could find their customers but mostly from photographers.

Excellent backpack for everyday use

Excellent backpack for everyday use. I use it as a diaper bag for my baby. It's the best one out there, plus the added bonus is that it won't get lost when my baby grows up. All the parents ask about it, and it's interesting to see the looks of admiration when I explain the bag's features. It's an amazing product.

Expanding the PD family

Expanded the family of PD products in the household. As every photographer says, no bag is perfect. But that's not why you buy the Everyday Zip. What's great about this bag it can morph with your needs, infinitely adjustable. I can easily swap my camera gear and pack it for a day in the office or a work trip. The only thing I need is more pouches and packing cubes to make the swap even bigger. PD please add more pockets with zippers inside, to small items etc.
