Watch for moisture

The unit works well but with some foods a lot steam / moisture builds up and even coats the control panel which is concerning. This even after we added more ventilation than the instructions call for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Control panel isn’t backlit

This is a replacement for our previous Bosch drawer microwave which was discontinued. The panel is hidden and when opened the settings are not lit. It is very difficult to see the settings even with the kitchen light on.

BEST DECISION EVER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled our kitchen. A drawer microwave was the best decision ever. I am short and now I can get a hot cup of coffee or casserole out of the microwave with no fear of dropping on myself and getting burned.

My 800 Micro

I love that my new Bosch 800 Micro doesn't take up counter space, which leaves me with lots of space to prep my meals. Also, when I have large bowls it's easy to lift it out with finger pot holders. I love it, but only wish the defrost button was easier to manage.

Microwave Drawer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well but lacking a few features. It would be nice to have buttons for 1, 2 or 3 minues instead of programing the compete time in. You can hit the start button and add 30 seconds but I feel like I will wear the button out it I use it all the time. I am not fan of the tilt out, one more thing to push open and clean finger prints off. But the microwave does work well and heats fast. Just think it is missing a few features.
