I used mine in combination with the JBL PartyBox Stage 320 speaker and it was an awesome setup, even with just the one PartyLight, as the PartyBox speaker has its own built-in lights and it syncs perfectly with the PartyLight Beam.

Add a little ambience to your party!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product if you like to entertain at your house or you're a DJ that. It works great with both. I currently own the JBL party box 120 and it syncs perfectly with it. It can be completely modified and controlled via the JBL party box app. It has many options and light sequences to choose from depending on the vibe you're trying to accomplish.

Great Way to Kick Your Party up a Notch

Its user-friendly design made it a breeze to pair with my PartyBox, and it syncs seamlessly with the music, swiveling to cast light in nearly any direction. I particularly appreciate the dual light output beams—one for RGB and one for LED—which create some stunning visual effects.
The PartyBox app enhances the experience even further, allowing you to customize colors, brightness, and speed. Plus, if you have multiple PartyLight Beams, you can sync them for an even more impressive light show.
I rated the PartyLight Beam four stars due to its lack of portability. Since it requires an AC outlet, it limits placement options. Unlike many other JBL products, which are battery-operated and perfect for outdoor settings like bonfires, the PartyLight Beam needs to stay plugged in.
Overall, I highly recommend the PartyLight Beam. Its impressive light output greatly enhances the atmosphere, and when paired with any PartyBox, it creates a truly captivating display!

Portable party

I had a wedding to DJ for and this in conjuction with the partylight sticks work awesome. I was curious if they would be bright enough and to my surprise, they were. Very professional looking and easy to setup. It makes it extremely easy to throw a party anywhere at the drop of a hat. Do keep in mind though that the party light beam is NOT battery powered like the light sticks.

iPhone 17 connection issue

Won't connect to my iPhone 17 Pro Max (iOS 26). Apps (JBL One and JBL PartyBox) detect the light, but connection fails.
My JBL Partybox Encore 2 speaker has no such issues.

Clear the app's cache.
Uninstall the app from your device.
Forget or unpair the Party Light Beam from your Bluetooth settings.
Restart your device twice. (This is crucial to ensure that all app and Bluetooth remnants are removed.)
Reset the Party Light Beam.
Pair the unit with your device.
Download and install the app again.
Open the app and grant all necessary permissions (the app requires these to function properly).
When the app opens, it should detect your unit and work correctly.
