[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this machine! Gets my large loads really clean. Doesn't get smelly. Love the Delicates cycle. I also created My Own Cycle, based on a load type I run often. Connected it to my SmartHQ app on my phone and get updates/notifications -- love that feature! Would recommend to all my friends and family!
Also, I have a very small laundry room, so have dryer stacked on washer -- works out wonderfully!

Pur old dryer broke and washer was on its last leg. They were 15yrs old and we searched around for our next set. I won't lie - we were set on LG after reading reviews online but after talking to an appliance guy, he recommended GE. It has a reversible washer door which no other brands (I think) have. The washer was loud with first use in spin cycle but it has quieted down. We are very happy with our purchase.

Mold Prevention

I had GE front loaders at my last apartment so when I moved to a new one and needed to buy my own, I went with an upgraded version of what I had there. The primary reason is the Ultrafresh Vent System that prevents mold. I have debilitating health issues triggered by exposure to mold and other biotoxins so this was critical. It does everything I need it to do, incuding a 16 minute soak cycle. I took off one star for noise.
