LOUD!!!!!!

I would not buy this unit. We had the first washer delivered broken. We have been using it for less than 6 months and it is so LOUD, when it is spinning. You can’t talk in the room. I can hear it through the house. Stay away from this washer. For the amount of money it cost it is definitely not worth it. Don’t buy it!

Worst washer

I’m was happy with GE appliances but that all changed when I had a washing machine for about 2 years and then it died all of a sudden it’s probably a control board and by the time u pay for someone to come look at it u might as well get a new one for the cost of a repair

We would like to help you with the sound level of your washer. We recommend ensuring the load is balanced, as unbalanced loads can cause the cycles to be louder than normal. You can balance your load by pausing the unit, opening the door, and manually redistributing the load. To check the machine, run a rinse and spin cycle with no clothes. Additionally, make sure the unit is properly leveled to the floor by pushing and pulling on the back right and then back left of your washer to check if it is level. Cleans Well WHEN IT WORKS but a repair headache!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Listen to the negative reviews. They are real and I truly wish I "did my homework" before buying this washer. I got my washer and dryer set from a local big box electronics and appliance retailer.
In just under two years, repair men have been to my home FOUR, I am not joking FOUR TIMES to repair this washer. It's gone through more than one "control board" and now it needs an "inverter board" for the drive motor and an 'accelerometer' as well.
When this washer works, it's amazing, it cleans well and very efficient. The ability to start your wash load from the app is nice with alerts telling you that your clothes are finished. That's the end of the fun stuff.
This has got to be the most unreliable washer I have ever owned. Given this was virtually top of the line as a washer is an insult and I have owned "cheaper" machines that lasted way longer than this. Of course I am outside the one year GE warranty so each repair was very expensive.
I know GE won't do anything to stand behind the product as I am outside the 1 year mark but I am warning you that you if even thought about this machine because of the perception that GE appliances are the best - you're sorely mistaken. Even my parents used this brand growing up. Never again.

Verdict still out

Verdict is still out on this. Not sure if it's the installers fault or the fault of the washer. Makes squeaking sound as it is washing, whether it is in wash cycle or spin cycle. It is currently on a pedestal but, it shakes and moves quite a bit. The installers put some type of sheet under the feet and the washer moved so much that they are not on the sheets anymore. With that said it is noisy probably due to the squeaking and movement. They are supposed to come look at it this week. We'll see.

Worst buy ever

We bought this washer in 2023 summer. We have had to do 2 repairs on it (luckily I got extended warranty)
I recently had it looked at because it is extremely loud, the fresh vent system doesn't work. I never close the door and it still has an odor...

I have had mine for a few months now. Very good product. We love the auto dispense. Goes 15 or so loads before you need to add detergent again. Overnight wash/dry feature is also very handy!
