LOUD!!!!!!

I would not buy this unit. We had the first washer delivered broken. We have been using it for less than 6 months and it is so LOUD, when it is spinning. You can’t talk in the room. I can hear it through the house. Stay away from this washer. For the amount of money it cost it is definitely not worth it. Don’t buy it!

Worst buy ever

We bought this washer in 2023 summer. We have had to do 2 repairs on it (luckily I got extended warranty)
I recently had it looked at because it is extremely loud, the fresh vent system doesn't work. I never close the door and it still has an odor...
According to GE the sound is normal
DONT BUY THIS UNIT...
NO WAY IT SHOULD BE AS LOUD AS IT IS AMD OF COURSE YOU GET NO HELP FROM WARRANTY COMPANY BECAUSE THEY REFER TO GE

I have had mine for a few months now. Very good product. We love the auto dispense. Goes 15 or so loads before you need to add detergent again. Overnight wash/dry feature is also very handy!

Noise: RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. Why? Can hear this thing throughout my house, no matter the room or level of home, doors open or closed throughout.
Please reply to help me understand why this has been produced in a way that this noise occurs?
Strongly contemplating a return as I just purchased it.

We would like to help you with the sound level of your washer. We recommend ensuring the load is balanced, as unbalanced loads can cause the cycles to be louder than normal. You can balance your load by pausing the unit, opening the door, and manually redistributing the load. To check the machine, run a rinse and spin cycle with no clothes. Additionally, make sure the unit is properly leveled to the floor by pushing and pulling on the back right and then back left of your washer to check if it is level. Do Not Buy!

This washer is awful. It makes a deafening noise when spinning. It sounds like a gunshot when the water supply turns off and the door latch release is extremely loud too. It shakes violently during spin cycle no matter the size of the load. Service has been out and they didn't do anything about the issue.

Another disappointment to Match the Pairing Dryer

1 star for the capacity - it does hold a LOT; 1 star for the no mold feature (although its too new to tell - it seems to be better than the last front loads); the rest doesn't deserve much - incredibly noisy (although all reviews did say so ITS SO TRUE); Features for loads are not suitable; Nearly always have to use extra water cycle; Sadly for GE, its a disappointment overall

We recommend first checking that the drain hose behind the unit is not kinked or clogged. You will want to also check that the pump filter isn't clogged. We also suggest trying an electronic reset. This can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in.
