just installed and already see a difference in my clothes. i did not add softener and yet they are softer and feel in better condition than before. i was concerned using the smart features would be difficult. i find it easy to use and get going.

We are more than happy to provide guidance with the operating sounds of this washer. Washer sounds that may be different from your prior washer:
Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. We have also provided some normal operating sounds on page 24 of the Owner's Manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--U0oV_xZc--/s08l4rmhqs9mf1ezhs7j.pdf
If you are experiencing a sound not listed, service is advised. You can schedule an appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

I’m enjoying my new top load washer! Way better than the front load. Washes well. So far so good. Easy to control and has different cycles. Nice and deep.
