Noise

This is the worst washer I have owned. I am now retired and on a fixed income so have no choice but to live with my purchase. The noise level is through the roof and it becomes unlevel while it spins out even though the washer is level. Definitely regret my purchase and would never recommend it.

Constant balancing issues, walks away from the walls, and inconsistent in how clean the clothes are. Also the detergent port has never worked so there is an entire bottle of inside the machine. Previously we had a front load washer and we grew tired of constantly cleaning out the door seal. We honestly liked the blue color and that’s where my liking stops. This was purchased as a set and the dryer has a god awful squealing noise coming from the idler pulley, and the only way to address it is to take the entire dryer apart. I will certainly second guess this purchase and will absolutely get rid of this washing machine before its life cycle runs out. New idler pulley is on order for the dryer and medication is on order for my sanity.

Despise this washer

I hate this washer. I have had it for less than a month and it constantly errors out in loads, no matter what I do, no matter how I balance the load, the size of load, etc. I would return it if I could.

We recommend resetting your washer by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function and eliminate the error codes, this will require service by a qualified technician. Horrible piece of junk!!

Frustrating piece of machinery. I bought both this washer and dryer and immediately started having problems with the washing machine. Will not hold water, even on the deep fill cycle so the clothes are agitating in about an inch of water. Tying the clothes into knots. Then the dispensers are still full of water when the cycle is done. Terrible experience. I will NOT buy another GE appliance. While this was still under warranty I had a tech come out, ordered repair parts, installed them and still the thing doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is not abnormal to see the detergent dispenser have water in it after the wash cycle has complete, as this is to ensure the detergent has been flushed into the wash tub. However, we do advise getting this Deep Fill issue properly addressed, as the unit should hold the extra water that has been added to the tub.
