Just went shopping for a new washer. Had this model in white, from 2021. Replaced a pump which was a code that popped up. My warranty unfortunately was only 3 years. The pump was not the problem. No kids, no crazy amounts of laundry. 2 lodads on the weendend and bedding when needed. I tried to support american made. I could not repair the washer so now anyone that will listen Im telling them stay away from GE or atleast this set. Repair people wouldnt work on it because it was "digital" waste of 1200 dollars. Hopefully the dryer hangs on longer. I know people post reviews of a week in is great. But 4 years is outrageous. If companies arent going to make a prodcut that lasts a minimum of 10 years, dont plan on keeping return customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is the worst washer I have ever owned, I have to wash my clothes twice a and then final rinse them again and they still have an odor, it says "odor guard" and I really didn't know what that meant until I was researching front load washers, I hate that I wasted my $$ on this washer!!!!

On bulking bedding AND towels setting, it is so loud it is annoying & embarrassing.

We want to help you with the sound level of your washer. First, make sure the unit is properly leveled. To check, gently push and pull on the back right and then the back left corners of the washer. If it rocks or feels uneven, adjust the rubber leveling legs until all four are firmly touching the floor and securely locked in place. Proper leveling can help reduce excess noise during operation.
