Horrible spin capabilities

Works ok but has a horrible time spinning out king comforters or mattress pads . If you want a washer you need to babysit all the time this is is it.

We want to help out with your washer and the spin cycle during heavier loads. The first thing we suggest inspecting is if the washer is completely level to the ground. Being on an uneven surface can cause excess movement and balance compensation.

It is also important to sort the load optimally, we recommend not mixing heavy items with lighter items.

Do Not Buy!

This washer is awful. It makes a deafening noise when spinning. It sounds like a gunshot when the water supply turns off and the door latch release is extremely loud too. It shakes violently during spin cycle no matter the size of the load. Service has been out and they didn't do anything about the issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Another disappointment to Match the Pairing Dryer

1 star for the capacity - it does hold a LOT; 1 star for the no mold feature (although its too new to tell - it seems to be better than the last front loads); the rest doesn't deserve much - incredibly noisy (although all reviews did say so ITS SO TRUE); Features for loads are not suitable; Nearly always have to use extra water cycle; Sadly for GE, its a disappointment overall

We recommend first checking that the drain hose behind the unit is not kinked or clogged. You will want to also check that the pump filter isn't clogged. We also suggest trying an electronic reset. This can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in. Regret buying GE

Do not buy GE the gasket has mold within a year even with the vent cycles. Waste of money as I have the machine apart to do a yearly (?) gasket replacement

Worst washer ever

This has been the worst appliance experience I’ve ever had. Our GE washer failed in less than two years, with absolutely no warning. After spending money on the replacement part that was needed, the washer still doesn’t work. Now we’re stuck waiting for a technician, without a functioning washer… right after the holidays.
This has been stressful, expensive, and extremely disappointing. For the price, this set should last far longer than two years. I strongly recommend avoiding this washer and dryer set. You’re much better off buying a basic Whirlpool or a Speed Queen.

It's just my husband and I and we bought this washer 2 years ago. The bearing went out already!! Which is going to cost over half of buying a new machine. Don't waste your money!
