Incredible!!! The GE washer has far surpassed all previous washers we have owned!! Finally a front load that vents itself-and does a good job! Capacity has adapted to everything we have washed! Numerous cycle choices allows better adaptation to fabrics-LOVE how well every load looks, smells and feels after cycle completion.

Do Not Buy!

This washer is awful. It makes a deafening noise when spinning. It sounds like a gunshot when the water supply turns off and the door latch release is extremely loud too. It shakes violently during spin cycle no matter the size of the load. Service has been out and they didn't do anything about the issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Noise: RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. Why? Can hear this thing throughout my house, no matter the room or level of home, doors open or closed throughout.
Please reply to help me understand why this has been produced in a way that this noise occurs?
Strongly contemplating a return as I just purchased it.

We would like to help you with the sound level of your washer. We recommend ensuring the load is balanced, as unbalanced loads can cause the cycles to be louder than normal. You can balance your load by pausing the unit, opening the door, and manually redistributing the load. To check the machine, run a rinse and spin cycle with no clothes. Additionally, make sure the unit is properly leveled to the floor by pushing and pulling on the back right and then back left of your washer to check if it is level. Great performance great buy!

Best unit I have ever bought. Love the capacity and performance. The cycles between the set are great which saves energy and not to mention the noise level is next to nothing. Most of the time I forget it is running until my phone reminds me. I love it!

Works ok but has a horrible time spinning out king comforters or mattress pads . If you want a washer you need to babysit all the time this is is it.

We want to help out with your washer and the spin cycle during heavier loads. The first thing we suggest inspecting is if the washer is completely level to the ground. Being on an uneven surface can cause excess movement and balance compensation.
It is also important to sort the load optimally, we recommend not mixing heavy items with lighter items.
