Top Notch! Asus should be your first consideration

Excellent as always! I have used Asus products for years; mobo's, video cards, switches and especially their routers. I use theirs since they are WRT based, which means much more configurable, and safer than many other brands. I do love that fact that Trend Micro is a part of the router, and it does catch many issues with web sites, etc. before they can get to your computer. Also, it is important to me that I can rename the LAN host name, which others will not allow you to do so. That is a big security issue. There are many other bonuses such as QOS, being able to set the router for gaming, working from home etc. I could name many more, but do investigate Asus routers before you buy one from the competition. And yes, they perform quite well.

I have been very happy with ASUS products. Easy of installation using the Asus RT-AX88U router. I am also impressed with the speed, saying it has full high speed coverage over their entire home. It is a powerful and reliable router that has met most of my expectations. And the price for the router is affordable.

This was very easy to setup and I really like the app used for setting it up and to use to maintain the router. I really like how you can easily see all the devices connected to your wifi.

So I'll say this upfront, once I got the router set up and running it has worked flawlessly. It's just the set up part that you have to look out for. I spent several hours trying to set up the router and in the end I required the computer interface, the mobile phone app and a factory reset to get the job done. I couldn't have succeeded without all three. That's a little much and honestly the lack of a product manual is unforgivable.
With the problems I had I probably rated the product a star too high, but performance is number one for me so I'll stick with it.

Nice design. I would prefer a 2.5G port. I do not like the orientation of the power adapter. Sideways orientation consumes too many outlet ports
