The T9 SSD can be re-formatted using Windows native formatting tool. You can also install the software that comes with your Samsung Portable SSD or download it from http://www.samsung.com/samsungssd.
Step by step instructions to format your SSD device using your PC/laptop:
1. Connect your SSD to PC or laptop.
2. Click the Documents icon on your PC.
3. Right click on the drive to be formatted and click Format.
4. From the drop-down list select NTFS under file system. To change the name of the drive, you may enter a name for Volume label, tick the checkbox for Quick Format, and then click Start.
5. The drive will be formatted accordingly.
Please note that formatting data on the drive will erase everything and it is advised to make a backup before proceeding.
Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support directly so that we can assist you towards a resolution.

Exponentially fast transfers with upload and download speeds surpassing industry standards. Utilizing the 1TB model via USB-C to USB-C recommended for optimal performance and reliability.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
