The best Portable SSD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Samsung Portable SSD T9 4TB and honestly, it feels over-hyped by all those AI-generated “perfect” reviews. Yes, it’s fast — but only if you have a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 port, which most laptops still don’t. Once the fancy write buffer fills up, speeds drop hard, and it gets pretty warm after long transfers. For the price, I expected better real-world consistency and maybe some water resistance. Feels like another gadget polished by marketing and AI copywriters, but in daily use it’s just an expensive external drive with limits you only discover after you buy it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not only is it stable on my Mac and pc, it also transfers data really quick! This is my second portable ssd, my first was a t5 1tb. I can notice the speed difference instantly. Looking forward to purchasing more samsung ssd's in the future.

I wish i bought the 4t.. I would recommend this to anyone who wants storage that looks good and easy to connect to computer and phone and also water resistant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the T9 SSD 2TB storage, and it's working great. No problems connecting it to my laptop or my Samsung S25 Ultra. The rubber case makes it easier to hold and provides more grip.
