The Samsung T9 2TB has easily become my go-to drive. After a day capturing aerial shots with my drone or filming hours of event video, I just plug in the T9 and dump everything over—it’s hands-down the fastest drive I’ve owned. No exaggeration, transferring gigabytes of video files is just painless, which means I spend less time waiting back at the editing desk.The rubber-coated build is actually a lifesaver. Out in the field or moving between gig locations, I’ve dropped this drive more than once and it just keeps working. My workflow sometimes means backing up footage the same day for safety, and the sheer speed makes that doable even when I’m pressed for time. I also use the encryption tech for client projects, so I don’t stress about privacy.If you’re someone who’s constantly offloading big video files from drones and cameras (especially if you edit from the drive), this SSD is worth it. It’s reliable, it’s fast, and it gives me way more confidence on gigs when losing footage isn’t an option.

The Samsung T9 portable ssd is fast, feels durable, has reliable connectivity, and is small enough to carry around. 1tb feels enough for me, given most of the data remains on cloud. Got a great deal during black friday.
My only concern is the Samsung Magician software - it is not user friendly, and you cant zoom in, so the text is quite small in the application.
Also it ATTRACTS dust.

The transfer speeds are incredible; I can edit directly off the drive without any lag. It’s compact enough to throw in my gym bag or take out on the boat, and the 2TB capacity handles all my raw footage with ease. Highly recommend for any content creators on the move!
